I’m KsEnija Simmons.

Every once in a while the most unique pieces capture your heart. One by one, those objects become souvenirs of your experiences, and together, they become the language of your unique story.

The same goes for building an intentional life…

I believe that connecting deeply to ourselves and making intentional choices that build on the last can help us build a life that is full of meaning.

Rebellious and Restrained

My art is rooted in themes of vulnerability, resilience, and light… layered with hope. I’m on a relentless pursuit of beauty and methodical about collecting inspiration and ideas.

But when I’m working on a painting, control gives into intuition, allowing what started as a spark of an idea, to become a full-fledged, truth-telling, piece of art.

I become more of a facilitator, allowing my eyes and hands to do what they need to bring these ideas onto canvas without getting in the way.

The journey is not always easy. But it is always beautiful.
